Who it’s for · Toy libraries
For toy libraries that count every piece.
Families borrow, toys come back complete, and the trustees get real numbers. Gizzago was built alongside a real toy library, so it knows the marble run has 24 pieces.

Your words
Gizzago says what you say.
Set your words once in Settings. Your site, the desk and the emails use them from then on. These are the ones most toy libraries pick.
| Out of the box | You | |
|---|---|---|
| One of them | toy | toy |
| More than one | toys | toys |
| When you are open | session | session |
| What a loan costs | hire fee | hire fee |
What fits
Made for the way toy libraries work.
- 01
Pieces, counted at the desk
Each toy knows its contents. The desk asks for the count when it comes back, and a missing piece follows both the toy and the family until it turns up.
- 02
Households with children
One membership for the whole family. Children are recorded by month and year of birth, never a full birthday, and never as users.
- 03
Party packs and play packs
A kit lends all of its parts in one go and checks them all back in. Counted stock covers the five identical balance boards.
- 04
Stay and play
Events with places, bookings, waiting lists and a check-in list that takes walk-ins, in the same reports as lending.

Not yet, honestly
- Membership cards in Apple or Google Wallet.
- Text message reminders (email only for now).
If one of these matters to you, tell us. Early libraries decide what comes next.
Other kinds of library
We are opening Gizzago to a few libraries at a time.
Tell us about your library and we will be in touch about joining early and moving your catalogue across.
