Who it’s for · Tool libraries
For tool libraries that keep the kit safe.
Tools go out for a weekend and come back for a check. Gizzago keeps a tool off the shelf until someone has looked at it, and keeps its history in one place.

Your words
Gizzago says what you say.
Set your words once in Settings. Your site, the desk and the emails use them from then on. These are the ones most tool libraries pick.
| Out of the box | You | |
|---|---|---|
| One of them | toy | tool |
| More than one | toys | tools |
| When you are open | session | opening |
| What a loan costs | hire fee | hire fee |
What fits
Made for the way tool libraries work.
- 01
A check before it goes back out
Mark a returned tool for care: repair, cleaning or quarantine. It cannot be lent until it is signed back in.
- 02
Counted stock
Ten pairs of goggles, six dust masks: track how many you have, how many are out, and how many are left.
- 03
Labels you can scan
Print a label with a code for every tool, and lend and return by scanning or typing the code at the desk.
- 04
Plain reports
What went out, how often, and which tools nobody borrows, for the next funding bid or the next clear-out.
Not yet, honestly
- Recording an induction before someone can borrow a power tool.
- Electrical safety test (PAT) reminders.
If one of these matters to you, tell us. Early libraries decide what comes next.
Other kinds of library
We are opening Gizzago to a few libraries at a time.
Tell us about your library and we will be in touch about joining early and moving your catalogue across.
