Features
Everything a lending library does, in one place.
Thirteen parts that share one set of records, so the desk, the website, the reminders and the reports always agree. All of it is built and running in demo libraries today.
01
Today
What is on, what needs doing, and how the last session went, on one page.
- Sessions now and next, with what to collect and what is due back.
- Needs attention: reservations at risk, overdue loans, memberships running out, toys in quarantine.
- Last session in a sentence: families, loans, money taken, missing pieces.

02
Sessions and calendar
Weekly sessions, one-offs and closures, at as many halls as you use.
- Weekly rules, one-off sessions and closures, per site.
- Loans fall due on a session day, not a day the hall is shut.
- Start a session with a tap, pack for it, run it, cash it up and read its summary.
03
The desk
Lend, return, count pieces, take cash and sign up a family, on a tablet on a trestle table.
- Each volunteer unlocks the desk with their own PIN on an enrolled tablet.
- Find a member, scan or search toys, and lend or return with piece counts.
- Holds, renewals, cash and card, new families and membership renewals in the same visit.
- A cash-up at the end that adds itself up.

04
Members and households
Families, not just email addresses, with everything that happened to them in one feed.
- Households with adults and children, history, notes and desk flags.
- Join online on free or paid plans, renew online or at the desk.
- Duplicates found and merged; anonymise when someone leaves.
- Safeguarding notes that only the safeguarding lead can read.
05
Reservations
Families reserve online for a session; you get a pick list and a waiting list.
- A basket on your site, reserved for a chosen session at a chosen hall.
- A pick list per session, and a waiting list when everything is out.
- “Still coming?” emails and one-tap moves when a toy is taken.

06
Kits and counted stock
Products and copies, kits that lend all their parts, and stock you count instead of label.
- A product with several copies, each with its own label and condition.
- Kits and crates that check out and in every component.
- Counted stock: five balance boards, four out, one left.
- Care (repair, cleaning, missing pieces), moves between sites, stocktake, labels and bulk edits.
07
Events
Stay and play, music sessions and fittings, with places, bookings and check-in.
- Events with a number of places, public booking and a waiting list.
- Check-in lists on the day that take walk-ins.
- Attendance counted in the same reports as lending.
08
Reports for trustees and funders
Real counts from your records, in the shape funders ask for.
- Trends, saved reports and every session's summary and cash-up.
- Money by kind, with a Gift Aid schedule for donations.
- A funder report: households, children by age band, sessions and volunteer turns.
- Counts from 1 to 4 shown as “fewer than 5” so no family can be picked out.
09
Reminders and emails
Due tomorrow, overdue, membership running out: the emails write and send themselves.
- Reminder ladders you can switch on and off, with your own wording.
- A log of every email sent, and a way to write to members.
10
Capture
Photograph a donation. The details come back with their sources. A person checks them.
- Several photos per item, plus a voice or typed note.
- Name, category, age, contents and condition filled in, each showing where it came from.
- Nothing reaches the catalogue until a person has approved it.

11
Your own site
Your catalogue, colours, fonts and words, on your own web address.
- Browse, search and filter, availability, reserve, join, events and visit-us pages.
- Colours checked for contrast, fonts, corners, icons, logo and a home page built from sections.
- Draft, preview and publish; your own domain if you have one.

12
Payments
Memberships and hire fees paid online into your own Stripe account, or at the desk.
- Your library connects its own Stripe account; money goes straight to you.
- Cash and card at the desk, recorded against the session.
- Membership fees, hire fees and donations kept apart, so Gift Aid is right.
13
Team and security
Roles for coordinators, volunteers and trustees, and sign-in that keeps accounts safe.
- Coordinators, desk volunteers, catalogue volunteers, trustees and a safeguarding lead.
- Passkeys, passwords or an emailed link; two-step sign-in for staff.
- An audit log of who changed what, which you can download.
We are opening Gizzago to a few libraries at a time.
Tell us about your library and we will be in touch about joining early and moving your catalogue across.
